Nutrition 101 – This class covers the basics of nutrition including: complex ‘vs’ simple carbohydrates, healthy fats ‘vs’ not so healthy fats, ideal proteins, the importance of fiber, vitamins and minerals. We also discuss why a combination of these essential nutrients is so important to our health.
Organic ‘vs’ Conventional Foods – These days there is so much discussion around organic foods and whether or not they are worth the extra expense. This class discusses what foods you may want to consider buying organic and the foods which are good to buy conventionally. We will cover the ‘Dirty Dozen’ and the ‘Clean Fifteen’ and the significance of the Environmental Working Group.

Foods to Avoid – During this class we cover the ingredients in our foods we should avoid - many of which may surprise you. You will learn what ingredients to look out for and why they are detrimental to our health.
Power Foods - This class discusses the most nutrient dense foods we can consume. These foods are packed with the essential vitamins and minerals we need to achieve optimal health.
Maintaining a Healthy Lifestyle on a Hectic Schedule – Between work and family responsibilities it is often difficult to find the time to take care of ourselves. This class covers best practices to balance work and family lives while maintain healthy habits.
Holiday Maintain - This program consists of two classes, one at the beginning of November and the other after the new year. The goal of the program is to provide tips and tricks for participants to maintain their weight throughout all of the temptations of the holidays.
Cooking Classes - Onsite cooking classes are offered upon request. They include demonstration, recipes and generous samples. All recipes presented are deliciously nutritious.
